There are 2 other picnic areas not listed. Acorn and Redwood picnic areas are first come first serve.

You can rent out the picnic tables for birthday parties. Which there seems to be one every weekend. There’s also plenty of parking in the private lot or in the street.

Hidden Valley Park is dog-friendly with a nice huge patch of grass. The park has multiple places to sit and places to barbecue for parties and picnics. The play structure is a good place to bring children to get some fresh air.

Hidden Valley Park has lots of open grassy space to lay a picnic blanket and relax. Not a ton of shade but there are spots and there are plenty of covered picnic tables. Hidden Valley Park is gorgeous and family-friendly and perfect for picnics and gatherings.

The park also has a large number of trails for hiking and biking, as well as picnic tables and BBQ pits where you can have your lunch or dinner with friends or family For a bonus if you go to the very top of the hills of the trail you can get fantastic pictures.

Safety tips:

– Dogs must remain on leash at all times (even when entering off-leash areas)

– Bicycles allowed only on designated trails

– No overnight camping

– Keep all pets out of water for other visitors to enjoy a relaxing time!
