This 10-acre neighborhood park is visible from Buchanan Road in the Highlands Ranch subdivision. Highlands Ranch Park is a multi-use entertainment area with a variety of attractions that caters to a wide range of interests. In the fall of 2006, the park was opened. There is a fenced-in tot lot play area (for children aged 2 to 5) with a playground, bouncers, climbers, and two baby swings. A separate, larger playground for children aged 5 to 12 is also available. This park features a multi-purpose baseball/softball track, as well as a one-acre open turf space at the basin’s bottom that many people find suitable for soccer or football games.

A sand beach volleyball court, a full-size asphalt basketball court, a tennis court, and a soccer track are among the other sporting activities available. Highlands Ranch has a huge picnic area with 6 picnic tables and two large BBQ pits that are shaded by a gazebo. This room can be rented out. Maybe a good way to celebrate family reunions when Covid restrictions are over. Between the tennis court and the beach volleyball court, there are four more picnic tables.

A lighted asphalt walking trail runs along the circumference of the park, with a distance sign indicating the.35 mile stroll. Restrooms, drinking fountains, a parking area, and benches are also available. The comfort rooms are well kept. There is limited parking, but you can park on the streets around the park. There’s always an ice cream and fresh fruit vendor in the park, so there’s never a lack of treats.

If you happen to visit because you have a furry friend in need of a play area, this is a good place to go. A large fenced-in area for larger dogs and a smaller fenced-in section for small dogs are available. Drinking water is served in bowls, and a kiddie pool is available for splashing around in. On hot days, a hose is conveniently located next to the gates. The trail-like atmosphere on the outskirts of the broad dog park would cater to tourists. It’s perfect for dog owners who wish to practice their dogs for off-leash trail time.
