Len Hester Park, also known as “Lenny,” is a popular destination for parents and their children. Lenny offers an abundance of activities for the whole family to enjoy from sports, arts and crafts, playgrounds, walking trails, and more.

There are plenty of trees, plants, and birds for you to explore while also enjoying the benefits of living close enough that you can hear traffic noise. The park features play equipment that’s safe for children 8-12 years old as well as benches so parents can sit with their kids if they want some quality time together or just need a break from chasing after them all day.

This place is a little gem when it comes to parks in the area. It’s located right off the Iron Horse Trail which is also a bonus-great place to relax in some shade during a bike ride or whatever.

There are several picnic tables and charcoal grills available and plenty of open areas with a good balance of trees for some much-needed shade when it gets warm.

Pack up a picnic, bring your badminton gear, Wifflele ball gear, or even a kite, and check this place out!

The park backs up into the schoolyard. The neighborhood was quiet and nice. A small park but it’s awesome to live close by and have friends over for BBQs under the big, shady trees.

Park Safety Tips:

– Be aware of surroundings at all times

– Never leave small children unattended

– Know where your kids are at all times

– If you see someone or something suspicious, contact local authorities immediately via 911 or another safety hotline number

If you follow these safety guidelines you can have an enjoyable time without worry of being harmed by anyone or anything. So let’s move onto what you can do at Lenny.
