Located next to the Orinda Community Center is the Community Park. In addition to three tennis courts with lights, the park includes a wide open grass field, two playground areas, picnic areas and barbecue areas.

Tennis Court Reservation Information

The city is now open to all three tennis courts. Now that these tennis courts have been resurfaced, please complete the Tennis Court Reservation Application and email it to OrindaParksandRec@CityofOrinda.org if you wish to reserve a tennis court to guarantee a specific time. The Department of Parks and Recreation is working to allow people to make reservations online, details will come soon on how to do this.

If the application has been submitted, reservations are verified, fees are charged, and you have obtained a reservation permit. If you’re rained out, refunds are not given. Reservations for the tennis court will be posted and have priority over non-reservations; please bring with you a copy of your permit.

Pleasant little community park with plenty of benches, grass and walking paths to stroll around with tree shade. With sand, a tire swing, different monkey bars for climbing, and wooden towers suitable for the burgeoning imagination, there are two main playing structures.

Two playgrounds are open. For smaller children, one. A swing field, then. An immense grassy field. Courts for tennis. A big baby playground, then. A theater outside. And some steep forests in which to walk around. It is dog friendly as well. In the grassy field, plenty of dogs come and play.
