Osage Station Park is renowned for its stunning, memorial rose garden and children’s playground with the train station.

This 35-acre park includes four tennis courts, four baseball diamonds, several soccer fields, and a walk around the park. Tennis courts and sports fields can be rented out. There is an additional parking lot in the vicinity of the tennis courts, off Orange Blossom Way. Twenty picnic tables and five barbecue pits are situated near the children’s play area and are available for hire.

Osage Station Park is just a short distance from the Iron Horse Regional Trail and as the name suggests, it was once a rail corridor. It was the involvement of the railroad that gave the park its original theme. This 35-acre park has something for all of us.

It features tennis courts, baseball diamonds, soccer fields, playgrounds, picnic areas, a rose garden, and a walk around the park. The playground is an inclusive, sustainable and secure playground where children can let their imagination run wild! The old western theme of the playground is related to the old past of the railroad. Some thematic elements include a tot area modeled after an old western railway station, complete with a clock tower, a passenger platform and a play train; a youth play area is a strolling old town with a bank, a hotel, a saloon and a prison; additional sections include a bank slide, mining spring themed riders, flashing railroads crossing arms, climbing barrels and a rubber surfaced “mesa” for children.

This is a lovely park in a serene atmosphere! The Osage Station Park is surrounded by beautiful rose gardens, large maple trees and is located next to the soccer fields. There are two play structures that are similarly enjoyable. The train and old western themes are sweet and enjoyable for even the wee ones. There are so many things children can play on and engage with: slides, rocking toys, bells, train sounds, tunnels, the so-called “jail” hills, a sandbox, etc. Bathrooms are open, the park is clean.

Osage Station Park is a beautiful and spacious park with lovely grass soccer fields, an array of healthy mature trees, tennis courts, rose garden, minor league fields, children’s playground and lovely walking, jogging paths and all this also has the calming appeal of being alone.
