Oak Hill Park provides a peaceful country atmosphere with a beautiful Mt. Diablo scenery, an idyllic spot for family picnics, weddings and other special occasions. This 43-acre park is the site of several special activities funded by the City of Danville, including the Youth Day Camp and the Park Music Summer Concert series.

Oak Hill Park has a small lake that hosts a number of wild birds, including migratory ducks and geese. Mature trees, green lawns and level paths that surround the lake provide ample opportunities for picnic and recreation.

Adventurous tourists to Oak Hill Park enjoy a scenic walk or horseback ride along the path that crosses the hills overlooking the park. The course of exercise is integrated into the trail. Here too, is the All Wars Memorial site.

A sand volleyball court and a community picnic area are available for hire. There are seven tables and three barbecue pits in the picnic area. Four lighted tennis courts at Monte Vista High School can also be reserved nearby.

There is a very good water feature, surrounded by a pond, with trees on the sides. It’s completely great to have a cute picnic or to go on a cute date to feed the ducks. Another bonus: the park has some amazing toilets. Super clean, not even the normal metal toilets you see in public parks. And the towels are of very high quality, not cheap at all.

If you get bored, there’s also a sand volleyball court available for the public to enjoy. And a hiking trail to the hill overlooking the park (and probably other stuff). Honestly, this park is the best location.
