They provide a healthy, enjoyable, and nurturing atmosphere for your child to explore many areas including art, music, sports, science, cooking, and computers. Also,  they have a quiet homework environment.

The Board of Directors, composed of parent / guardian volunteers, meets with the Center Director every other month to develop, identify, and track the operating policies and procedures of the center. Parent / caregiver participation is encouraged. Bylaws can be updated upon request.

The Valle Verde Children’s Center wishes to welcome you to the Board of Directors. The board members play a significant role in coordinating efforts to provide the Valle Verde Elementary students with the best after-school treatment overall. The members of the board have a range of experiences and skill sets, allowing them to be pragmatic, committed and compassionate leaders, encouraging VVCC teachers to have a supportive atmosphere. Parents / guardians are welcome to engage in the dialogue about center direction. They also support all parents / guardians in being involved Board members.

For all families, the Parent Handbook is a must-read. The handbook includes all of our rules, procedures and instructions that must be followed by every family during their participation in our programme. The children’s minimum age is 4 years, 9 months. Nevertheless, there is no minimum age limit if your child is already enrolled in TK at the Valle Verde Elementary. For continuity, they ask you to enroll your TK / K for a minimum of 2 days / week.

If you want to put your child in our system, you will need to fill out our Enrollment Kit before your child begins. This packet includes emergency information, authorized persons to pick up, and health information. All forms can be found under the Forms & Documents tab. The program is a fun, healthy, and imaginative place where your child can use a variety of materials to explore a variety of interesting topics, ideas, and themes. They emphasize learning-through-play. Your child will be building long-lasting friendships and establishing strong social competencies.

Every child has a cubby to put their backpack, lunch, extra clothes and artwork on. The Center offers snacks at VVCC using balanced foods. The snack menu is posted in Kitchen B. If your child needs any special nutritional snacks or extra snacks, they must be given to your child.
